DAY 1

Flight towards London.


DAY 2

Arrival in London and meeting with your bus driver.

Transfer by bus from the airport to the hotel to drop off your luggage

Lunch at your own charge

Meet with a local guide and departure by bus for a guided city tour (1/2 day) where you will see the highlights; such as Big Ben, Parliament Houses, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, London Eye, Harrods and more!

Then, enjoy a ride on the London Eye, the largest observation wheel in the world. You will have a wonderful view of London.

Dinner and overnight in London.

DAY 3

Breakfast

Free time to discover Hyde Park and the famous Buckingham Palace. Besides being the official London residence of The Queen, Buckingham Palace is also the busy administrative headquarters of the monarchy and has probably the most famous and easily recognisable façade of any building in the world. (You might see the changing of the guard)

Lunch at your own charge

Discover the Harrods’ shop. Famous and chic, you can buy the most extraordinary things but at an extraordinary price ! It’s worth it to enter to see the food section (to be made in small groups).

Then, you will visit the Natural History Museum. The collection of the museum contains almost 70 millions of objects. Charles Darwin and Joseph Banks were bringing their discoveries at this museum.

DAY 4

Breakfast

Visit the Tower bridge exhibition where you will enjoy breath-taking views from the high-level Walkways and learn about the history of the Bridge and how it was built. You can then visit the Victorian Engine Rooms, home to the original steam engines that used to power the Bridge.

Lunch at your own charge

Reach the Tower Bridge to take some pictures.

Then, enjoy a Thames cruise (20 minutes) from where you will have a view of the city from the river.

Continue to the Parliament Square to see the famous Big Ben and take some pictures. This imposing tower of the Palace of Westminster named Big Ben refers to one of the bells weighing 14 tons, and named in honor of Sir Benjamin Franklin.

DAY 5

Breakfast

Free time to discover Old Leicester Square.

Lunch at your own charge

Meeting at the Westminster Abbey for a guided visit. Kings, queens, statesmen and soldiers; poets, priests, heroes and villains – the Abbey is a must-see living pageant of British history. Every year Westminster Abbey welcomes over one million visitors who want to explore this wonderful 700-year-old building which is the coronation church of England.

DAY 6

Breakfast

This morning, visit the Imperial War Museum. Aside from the obvious historical importance of some of the documents (like Hitler’s signed order authorizing the march on Poland) the museum has a couple of interactive sections that bring the reality of war to life in a way that exhibits in glass cases cannot do. The WWI section wants the visitor to experience what trench warfare was actually like (and you do) and the WWII interactive exhibit attempts to replicate (with great success) what life was like during an air raid for Londoners during the Blitz.

Lunch at your own charge

This afternoon, free time to discover the famous shops Harrods & Hamleys.

Then take some time to shop at the Camden Markets.

DAY 7

Breakfast

Visit of Madame Tussaud’s Museum (optional $).

Or

Free time in Picadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square and Oxford Street.

Lunch at your own charge

Visit of the British Museum. The oldest museum of the world, contains not less than 6 millions of objects testifying to 1.8 million years of civilization.

Dinner and overnight in London.

 


DAY 8

Breakfast

Meeting with your bus driver and local guide for an excursion to Windsor Castle. See St. George’s Chapel, the Doll House and maybe even the Changing of the Guards! (on alternate days).

Lunch at your own charge

Return to London.

Free time to enjoy the city and to buy souvenirs.

Dinner and overnight in London.
